Excuse me......

.....call me crazy, but am I the only one who thinks that Mr. Obama is kinda stepping in a tad before his time? I mean, he is not the president YET, but he seems to be doing a lot of presidential stuff prematurely. Asking Congress to approve his stuff...BEFORE he is sworn in?

Perhaps I am just not familiar with the 'transition' and when/how that takes place.

SO...is he jumping the gun? Is he just getting a running start? Is he overstepping his bounds? Please let me know!

P.S. the things he is pushing to get passed within his first few months are APPALLING. However, I am keeping my word and am going to allow him a grace period to prove himself. I am going to give him a chance. No matter how much I already disagree.

Crazy???? I think not! But you already know how I feel!

What transition? If a were a less informed kinda gal and only watched Entertainment Tonight and Comedy Central for my news, I'd swear he was President as of about 9:00 p.m. November 4, 2008. So, go ahead and consider the last 11 weeks your grace period and start calling it like it is...the beginning of Solcialism in America. Sad indeed.

Looming on the horizon is something I thought only happened 'other places'.......

I totally agree. It does seem like he is overstepping his bounds.

I saw an interview with Dana Perino and Pres. Bush was being criticized for taking a back seat to Pres-elect Obama. Dana explained that it is customary for the current or “lame duck” President to step back and allow the Pres-elect to take a more prominent role. It is natural for people to look to the new leader for guidance, and, in order to be effective, the incoming President has to get things started before he takes office. Nothing unusual going on.

Have a blessed Lord's day!
