Funny Bumper Stickers

You speak of being a christian, yet you use this as a platform to spread lies about the candidate you oppose, rather than just supporting your own candidate on his merit. Senator Obama is an AMERICAN, attends a CHRISTIAN church, and is a FATHER and a HUSBAND. Think about that before you post things like this - which only feed HATE.

Anonymous,

My intent was not to be hateful, but humorous. I am very sorry it was mistaken in this manner. Hate is definitely NOT what I had in mind.

However, being a Christian does not mean that one it is to stand by and not speak up when error is seen. Even Jesus got angry (and yet did not sin) with the manner in which the 'religious leaders' were turning a profit in the God's temple. He went and in a calculated manner ran the guys out of there.

You say that I am spreading lies. What is a lie? I honestly do not think that the humorous bumper stickers I posted are lies...however, they are meant to be taken off the cuff...in a lighthearted, joking manner.
I do not want to spread lies at all. If so I would not have done such extensive research on Obama (as well as McCain/Palin) and I would have repeated every email I have seen regarding these potential world leaders.

This research has led me to be quite wary of Obama and what he says. Being quite eloquent it is easy to take him at his word. However, I feel a wise decision should be made and therefore more extensive research is in order.

As for his personal life ("...Obama is an AMERICAN, attends a CHRISTIAN church, and is a FATHER and a HUSBAND.") I did not say anything pertaining to that nor did I comment about that. I am aware of these facts and think it is wonderful that he has a loving family. However, since hate was mentioned, his church (former) of 20 years is very questionable and the teachings he has sat under during this time. Hate is being taught there constantly-and it is difficult to hear things for that many years and not believe them to some degree. Hate is also a product of radical Islam, a sect that Obama has been quite...close...to in his personal life for many years.
And although an American, he has made some very sketchy comments and portrayed some rather un-American behavior in the recent days that I do find haunting.
I was also sad to hear him speaking of his daughters and the possibility of one of them becoming pregnant on accident at a young age and possibly contracting an STD or having to be 'punished with a baby'. This was quite sad to hear, seeing as how the majority of people alive today were 'unplanned' -and to view anyone as a 'punishment' is missing the entire big picture.

All in all, I hope his personal family values are better than the persona he has to adhere to while on the campaign trail.

The main producers of hate that I have seen throughout this campaign are the liberal media outlets. The blatant disrespect of people that believe differently than they do is appalling.

During my research I read many MANY articles, blogs, etc that were written by liberals, feminists and anyone who is in support of Obama/Biden. The incredible hate, use of extensive profanity when describing McCain/Palin, disrespect, personal insults of a grafic nature, etc was honestly shocking to me. Is there a reason that a grown adult cannot have a spirited discussion, get their points across, and NOT have to digress to such actions?
In many of these instances all I came away with was anger. Anger that, if left unchecked, could easily turn to hatred. I had to remind myself that someone who must stoop to such lows just has a lack of education on how to respectfully disagree with an opponent. (agreeing to disagree comes to mind)
These people should be encouraged to debate using respect -on both sides- and not resort to such immature tactics. The lack of vocabulary is also shocking...should I go into the public education system? :)

In conclusion, I am voting for McCain not because I just love what he stands for or think that he has a great plan to bail our country out of the crisis it is in (BTW...we should be responsible for our bad decisions and not expect the government to bail us out...but I digress).
I am voting for him because it is a vote against Obama.

Tiffany,
You do not know me, but I read your blog often and really enjoy it. I also have a blog and it is my right and yours and all of ours, to post anything we want, truth, lie or a combination of both! I happen to agree with you about Obama and McCain. And I honestly think that neither candidate would have a problem with your blog! It is called free, speech! You are not a journalist and therefore can post whatever you want and do have to be accountable for it to anyone..except God himself! Especially not to someone who does not include their name.

And if someone is out there looking to your blog, or mine for political information, then we have an even more serious problem!

As for spreading lies, let's talk about the mainstream media, shall we?
May God help us all!!

Blog on Tiffany, blog on!!

Oh by the way I found you via Jennifer Bailey!

Ana,

Nice to 'meet' you :)
Thanks for the encouraging comment. I do feel it is a "right" to say what I will on my blog, however, I really do not want to offend people.....although I realize that is inevitable in many cases.

And how much do you LOVE Jennifer?! I am so excited about her pending birth and little girl!!! :)
